Collection: Palaka Collection
Hawai'i's Plaid!
Palaka is a reflection of Hawai'is past. It was first introduced by the Europeans and were quickly adapted by the Hawaiians & Portuguese. Palaka fabric was originally made for uniforms for Field/Plantation workers. The thick fabric would help protect against the sun and sharp/spiky leaves.
Today, Palaka clothing is a staple in many of our closets. Made in different styles & colors.
